SMOC Nature Trails Walk & Talk

Join us at Smoky Mountain Outdoor Center in Townsend on Saturday, September the 3rd and go on an interactive “Nature Walk & Talk” with a Naturalist from Tremont Institute!
We will be walking the nature trails on site at Smoky Mountain Outdoor Center. Bring a journal, a camera, or just your cell phone to document your findings, upload them to iNaturalist (the scientific database for research on plant and animal life in nature), and spend time learning valuable information from a Great Smoky Mountains Institute at Tremont expert in nature! This is a Free & Family-friendly event.
Time slots will be at 10am, 11am, 12pm, and 1pm
Sign up in store or online. Only 10 spots available for each time slot.
Participants will receive complimentary power bars from Kate’s Real Food, Bottled Water, Pencils & Paper to help document findings, and 15% off purchases made at SMOC!
