We are excited to announce our next installment of the Bean & Guild class for 2023 coming Friday, August 18th from 3pm-5pm!
Susan McCollum (@susan_mccollum_art), a local Townsend artist and member of the Townsend Artisan Guild, will be hosting a mixed media card class where participants will create cards like the ones in the featured photos.
This fun and easy mixed media card class involves sketching loose, simple doodles and scribbles of whimsical flowers and leaves, painting, then cutting them out and collaging them to blank greeting cards. Examples will be provided for you to copy, or if you wish, as a jumping off point for doodling your own unique flowers and leaves. This is a friendly and fun workshop with lots of options for creating your own one-of-a-kind cards.
All materials and tools are provided. However, if you have a favorite pair of scissors for cutting paper, you are welcome to bring them.
Please note: you will NOT receive a physical ticket for this event. Your name will be on a list upon check in for the event.
